Proof of Bread Order

Saturday pickup · local delivery

Proof
takestime.

Sandwich loaves, cinnamon rolls, and biscuits. Flour, milk, butter, honey — nothing you can't pronounce. Baked in fixed batches and sold until they're gone.

This week's bake

Every batch is capped. When the counter hits zero, that's it until next Friday night.

Pay in Bitcoin, take a dollar off every item. No processor takes a cut when you pay over Lightning, so that dollar goes to you instead of a card network. Cash is welcome too — it's just the full price.

How it works

We bake Friday night

Everything is mixed, kneaded, and proofed overnight, then baked before dawn. Nothing sits on a shelf.

Pick up Saturday

Why we do it this way

A Bitcoin bakery, not a bakery that takes Bitcoin

There's a reason the discount runs one direction. We think the money most people are paid in gets quietly worse every year, and that a business can either shrug at that or do something about it. We chose the second one. Bitcoin isn't a checkout option we bolted on — it's how we price, how we save, and part of why the shop exists at all.

We keep the sats

Bitcoin you spend here isn't swapped to dollars the moment it lands. It stays in Bitcoin, on our books, held on our own keys. We're not a payment processor's customer — we're a saver.

Our own node

Payments settle over Lightning to a full node and Lightning node we run and maintain ourselves. No Stripe, no Square, no third party sitting between you and a loaf of bread taking three percent for the privilege.

Four ingredients

Organic flour, water, sea salt, and a starter fed daily since [year]. No commercial yeast, no conditioners, no preservatives. Sound money and sound food come from the same instinct: don't add what doesn't belong.

Fixed batches

We bake what two hands can make well, and the batch numbers on this page are the real ones. They don't quietly grow when demand does — which is more than you can say for most things you're asked to hold.

New to Bitcoin? Come pay in cash the first time, ask whatever you want while your bread is bagged, and we'll help you set up a wallet if you decide you're curious. No pressure, no pitch.
